Louisiana Economic Development’s SpaceX project page directs businesses to SpaceX’s supplier-submission portal. The state says SpaceX has joined Source Louisiana, giving Louisiana suppliers, contractors and service providers a pathway to compete for work associated with the announced Vermilion Parish project.

The supplier portal is an initial way for a business to submit information to SpaceX. It is not a contract, bid award, certification or guarantee of future work. Companies considering a submission should describe their capabilities accurately and use the company’s own portal instructions.

LED describes anticipated indirect opportunities for local contractors and vendors, while also saying construction is expected to begin by the end of 2027. Those statements are announced plans, not evidence of completed local work. The state says permitting and regulatory review remain with the responsible agencies.

For a local business, the immediate action is the supplier submission itself. The state project page remains the public source for its current project information, while the SpaceX portal is the direct business-submission destination.
